More relevant to the original topic, 1-drop aggro does a good bit to limit the power of "ETB.dec", particularly for things with ETBs that don't effect the board -- e.g. if I'm attacking with Jackal Pup, I'm probably pretty upset about Cloudgoat Ranger, but barely care about Mulldrifter...

Haven't done a ton of Pauper cube but it's definitely not "egregious" at Peasant, not even close. There's a billion bad burn spells at XR that nobody wants or uses, so the only selling point for Thunder is dividing it up to punish aggro decks. But... there it's only particularly worthwhile at 6+...

Leaving a bear behind on your game-winning Overrun doesn't seem too impactful. I'd rather stick to a mono-red card so your Grizzly Fate or Moan of the Unhallowed can get in on the fun.

i don't see anything out of line with most mtg art from 1994 generally conveys the idea of "headache" which seems to be how blue deals targeted damage with spells probably bottom 25% of legends card art, but far from the worst thing ever

I've always thought that Elvish visionary fundamentally sucked -- two mana for a re-draw and a 1/1 speedbump not good enough for even lower power cube settings It's certainly fine in normal booster drafts and can be exploited in constructed settings... But why is this a card I'd ever want to...
