The more I think about it, the more I like it cuz it kinda kills all the mini creatures and it doesn't absolutely overwhelm the board. As someone who regularly plays Heartless Summoning -1/-1 is a lot, and it can do a lot of fun stuff.

I've tested out a custom version that can target humans and it really barely makes a difference to the gameplay. I get why they did it for Ikoria, but it still is weird for me that mutate can target elves and kithkin and not humans.

This is the best version so far, but... I feel like I would feel pretty stupid by picking Sir Shandlar of Eberyn only to get destroyed by human frailty. It did make me think that fight as one would be cool in this cube. Or maybe even a mutate sub-theme? I feel like the latter would raise the...
