(crosspost from the old group, but this seems like something we should be keeping)
If you're like me, the best part of this group is having new cube discussions to read whenever I have the time. Despite having a lot more people producing good cube content in the last ~6 months, there's never enough. This thread could be a good place to share what's worth watching/reading/listening to in the cube community.
This post isn't intending to be comprehensive, but I'll share what I look forward to (or come back to again and again) and why.
Audio/Visual Podcasts:
These are all mostly about designing/building a cube (not playing)
Joy of Cubing
http://www.gatheringmagic.com/category/articles/podcast-articles/joy-of-cubing/ (can find on itunes)
I think Kranny has a solid take on cube and is a good speaker. He has good chemistry with nearly all of his guests and it's pretty focused 45-60 minutes, which I appreciate. There's probably about one episode every 3 weeks or so, but with his new job Kranny has send he's putting this (and his other podcasts) on hiatus until he has it settled.
Channel Cube Cast
http://www.channelfireball.com/author/channel-cube-cast/ (not yet on itunes as far as I know)
All three folks have good chemistry and have a good balance of agreements and disagreements. It's pretty new so there's some improvement that I feel will come with more reps, but I like the structure each episode has taken so far (big picture top about where cube is at / review an article / talk cards/archetypes). This has a lot of potential, but seems to have slid into a more irregular schedule than I usually like in a podcast. I'd really love it if this was weekly.
Magic Box
http://eckamon.blogspot.com/ (streams live on twitch with an audio podcast available next morning)
Pretty new as well, but I definitely appreciate that they're sticking to a schedule. I really did enjoy TSG's stuff over the years so it's nice having him back make content. I don't happen to share a lot of their cube philosophy, but it's a pretty well done production and it's (barely, but perceptibly) on my preferred end of the structure <-> free-form continuum.
Twitch Streamers
This isn't a year-round thing, but when cube is on Modo, there's some entertaining content being put out from the play side.
Greg Hatch - http://www.twitch.tv/greghatch - one of the folks from Channel Cube Cast
Definitely very far on the effusive/audience interaction/catch phrase spewing side of things, but he has a lot to say about cubes in general while playing and it is entertaining while still being about the game
Joy of Cubing - http://www.twitch.tv/joyofcubing/videos?kind=past_broadcasts
It's a shame that this didn't continue, but Kranny streamed 3-4 of his normal cube nights live and it was really great although I'm sure it was hard to do logistically for the few dozen streamers who tuned in live. I loved it through.
Written Content
(Our own) Jason Waddell's Channel Fireball Content - http://www.channelfireball.com/author/jason-waddell/
pretty new, but definitely worth reading. I'll be curious to see how widely-accepted this starts to become. It's definitely challenging a few sacred cows, and that's good at the potential cost of having a narrow audience.
All the Star City Games guys are pretty good, although there's a fair percentage of articles that are the old "X cards I want to talk about this week"
