I wish that one drop was a Zombie; it would have been a perfect cross pollinator for Gravecrawler/Vengevine decks and Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis enabler. It probably still gets there on sheer utility but that's a tough slot to make space for in my environment.

Empower Jace is a neat mechanic for the limited format and makes sense given the story they're trying to tell, but absolutely not something I'll be playing in my cube ever. It's a hard sell for a one-off mechanic like this that will never be used again.

Not at all, it's what @alvoi mentioned. If a card leaving the graveyard matters for triggers ala Hardened Academic or Gau, Feral Youth, then Town Greeter is just better with that slight change to the wording.
