Yeah no I would be willing to bet money that the reason no one is jumping to post about this set on most platforms is because the cards are mostly terrible.
Charming Prince is just so much clearer and more reasonant than Ennis that I legitimately see no reason to ever play Ennis over Prince unless you specifically need something that blinks and also cares about +1/+1 counters at the same time.
Sad to see no more cards like Fleem, but also, I am very happy I will know what the card is across both platforms. Through the Omenpaths was horrible for being able to tell what cards online translated to paper.
MaRo said on his blog that they're not going to be messing with the color pie in this set at all, so I would not be surprised if Mana Tithe style "this is technically in pie, but we don't normally do this" style cards are off the table.
This type of card design really annoys me. Addative distractions make adding these cards feel a lot worse: I wish they woukld just give us a 2/1 for 1 with a useful relevant upside or just go back to printing vanilla Savnnah Lions.

"Aren't any good for Cube" seems like a bit of a stretch to me. The "front halves" on a lot of these are good enough for players to want to run, even if they aren't always casting the prepared spell side. Emeratus of Conflict is actually a good example of this; a 2/2 First Strike for {1}{R} is...
My guess: all of the hybrid mana symbols appear on cards that require one or more full pips of the colors, either in the main mana cost or as the cost for prepared spells.
I think the design is sweet! 7 mana is just so much for a card that wants you to combo off after you play it, you know? I feel like the best use case is in cheating it out somehow and then trying to combo off, which doesn't necessarily feel worthwhile.
