I was planning on skipping the prepared cards, now I actually have to think a bit harder cause that owl looks great!
Try telling that to the aggro deck...Unless the green Paradigm spell is completely wild, this is probably the best card in the cycle and it isn't even close.

Having the mana available to hit both abilities is really hard, but in a mono red deck just imagine playing a lightning bolt in response to your top decked goblin guide on turn 4 and then doubling both of those.![]()
What a weird little sidequest card. I'm curious what spell+creature combo would justify running this?
I don't think it is in most formats. In old retail limited formats it would've been, but not even in my cube.Try telling that to the aggro deck...
Is this even better than Tidings?
I’d be a lot more into this if it said X or less. As it stands, you have to have a pretty heavily slanted curve to make it pop.I think I like this a lot more as an 'Eggs' payoff than Second Sunrise or Faith's Reward
Also from the spoilers today I am liking some of the Silverquill "instant or sorceries that target friendly creatures" stuff.

Oh well now the card sucks lol. My brain read it as X or less and it turns out when reading the actual words I hate it
I am still in the 'hater' camp for Fix What's Broken but it was a bit much to say it sucks, just not hitting all of 0cmc + 1cmc + 2cmc makes it a lot less possible as a 'zoo' top-end / eggs (which is why I was super excited for it), but like you mentioned Raise the Past does at least fit the zoo top-end role.I still like it OK.
