MTGgoldfish images are too big. Oh well.
Goblins? Wizards? Zombies? Dragons? It's Onslaught time, baby.
Lotta great "core" designs. Exactly what I wanted to see.
The game is going to look like a fucking joke when the top constructed decks are Jeskai Captain America, Rakdos Blademaster (Cloud, Sephiroth, Mickey Mouse with a Keyblade), Mario Pipe Blink, and Peter Griffin Ramp.
I'm likely to add it to whatever my next iteration is. It's a 3 mana rock for Eldrazi that has a higher ceiling. I don't think you need much synergy beyond a decent artifact density. If it adds 1, fine. If it adds 2+, great.
A few thoughts:
This should probably be a cube blog.
Please figure out how to use CardConjurer. It looks so much better.
"Custom"
Not sure calling it "Riptide" makes sense unless many of us are working on it.
Maybe many of us should work on something?
DSK had a set of similarly powered options. I really like these kinds of cards for fixing opening hands in any format that has time to spend turn two sorting out their land situation.
The LTR ones only costing 1 mana is a huge deal because it can make one land hands keepable and they're fairly...
Anyone have any anecdotal data from playing with rooms? How are they? I'm interested in them, but not sure if I want to add a card type that hurts my neck to read.
ACKSHUALLY City of Brass has a trigger when it taps where it deals damage (which causes loss of life!). VERY IMPORTANT because Urborg and Yavimaya don't allow it to tap for free and you can Twiddle it to GG your opponent.
Everyone could bring a random selection of commons every week to contribute to a pool that's then shuffled and distributed. I'm sure most players have some kind of bulk and then the process can happen with no additional cost.
Hell, if one player has a ton of cards, they could provide the entire...
I think there's potential for some kind of league where you open N packs per session or something with a larger initial card pool. $50 starting cost and $15 every session (or something) and you can slowly accumulate a card pool, trade, whatever. That's how I started. I think I had the elf...
Same energy as me when I go 0-3 but was "just testing the archetype."
Sorting
If you're on proxies, you can use different set symbols for different packs.

This is a decent resource for making a front card to a pack that would...
I've heard of people doing budget challenges, but it still requires a playgroup of sufficient size where it's worth spending $20+ on a deck specifically for that playgroup.
Spiking is inevitable in a game where there's a winner, but you can change the context if you don't want to buy a $500...
Specifically, rule 0 sucks and makes the whole thing illegitimate as a format.
I think that a Commander Cube/Jumpstarts could be really fun for both 1v1 and/or multiplayer.
Yep. I have an online friend who exclusively plays EDH and saved up for a Dockside which will likely hold next to no value soon.
Hell, they banned a card that they specifically made for their own format. Is that going to be a trend? Sell chase cards to ban them?
At least I can sleep well...
