    General Fight Club

I run Seasons Past in this role: Seasons Past It's not much different from Once and Future in casting cost, but it gives green control an endgame and it's a very unique effect. Not in instant, though.

General Weekly Fun Q: Which land would you rather live in?

Vitu-Ghazi, the City-Tree Walkable neighbourhood in the heart of Ravnica with plenty of nature around, where a welcoming, tight-knit community raises their children as a village. Spectacular views.

    Onslaught Masters

Dabbled in Elves and Zombies before deciding to just go for a ramp deck: https://cubecobra.com/cube/deck/61b4e89bdf1a1510246562fc For some reason I didn't see the big targets, so I'm ramping into mediocre stuff (apart from Primordial Mist, which is busted). I could have used some elf payoff to...

    General CBS

I feel the opposite, CubeCobra is remarkably good for a site that's not professionally developed. Yes, there are some weird bugs, but it's a very complex domain and I didn't expect as polished an experience as it provides given this domain.

    General Alchemy

Would be interesting if they experimented with adding life points to the person going second until WR was close to 50% for play first and draw first. I think Alchemy might turn out to be a great thing for Arena, but I think I'll just pretend it doesn't exist for the purposes of paper cube.

    General Fight Club

Yeah, multiple repeatable mana sinks don't add up very well, as the player is just using mana in the most efficient way (though Evolutionary Leap in particular is pretty good with Jade Mage) and that tends to be activating the most efficient mana sink. You might have enough of them that Jade...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

This seems super fun! I would give someone losing the best thing I can, and someone winning... well, something that wouldn't make them win much more. It's playgroup dependent, like a lot of silver-bordered cards, but the ceiling is high!

    General Fight Club

I like both, but I use Jade Mage for the mana sink. In slower, card-advantage constrainted environments, mana sinks are really useful to give a player a conversion path of mana -> CA. Passing with 8 mana up and nothing to do with it feels quite bad. Jade Mage is at a decent point in the...

General Spaaaaace: To Unfinity and Beyond!

Unstable was probably in the top 5 sets I opened the most boosters (held phantom drafts, plus a bunch of regular drafts, total of probably ~2 boxes). I had a lot of fun with it, and wanted the basics too, so Unfinity is partially my fault :) It was pretty popular in my area. I don't have much...

    Sets (VOW) Crimson Vow

Whispering Wizard I didn't realize this would trigger on artifacts and enchantments too until I heard it discussed in Lucky Paper Radio. I have mixed feelings about the 1/5 body of Murmuring Mystic, but for now I think I'm ok with keeping it, as being a 4-drop that starts triggering T5 is...

Sets (VOW) Crimson Vow Testing/Includes Thread

I'm considering this one actually: Lantern Flare I've tried removing one-off mechanics before, but it's a super annoying constraint to maintain. Every card you remove might cause a cascade of "lonely" mechanics, and adding new mechanics requires them to be added in groups. I see the appeal...

    Sets (VOW) Crimson Vow

But then there is: Bruvac the Grandiloquent Probably would need to add something to the comprehensive rules to word it like you suggested, but it would be slightly cleaner and might be worth it.

    Sets (VOW) Crimson Vow

I was trying to come up with a more intuitive solution with code, but turns out that English is better for this card. def etb(self): self._dig() def upkeep(self): self._dig() def _dig(self): milled = mill(self.controller, 1) if any(['Land' in c.types for c in milled])...

I see 36, maybe you missed Double Negative? I'm not counting Mages' Contest (that would make it 37). https://scryfall.com/search?q=o%3Acounter+o%3A%22target+spell%22+cmc%3D3+%28t%3Ainstant+or+o%3Aflash%29+-o%3Aunless&unique=cards&as=grid&order=name I'm not a big fan of any of those, somehow...
