Sets (WOE) Wilds of Eldraine Spoilers

I have long been trying to figure out a good semi-custom snow cube, but I probably want another set or to go into the realm of full customs before I try.

Sets (WOE) Wilds of Eldraine Testing/Includes Thread

I see you don't run any Planeswalkers, so this is maybe not that helpful to you, but they're the most controversial card type in my playgroup. A third of my players don't like them on principle, another third enjoy them but acknowledge they can gum up games and are a bit unfair (especially...

Sets (WOE) Wilds of Eldraine Testing/Includes Thread

I'll be adding 31 cards from the main set...this is now the most-represented set in my cube, huh. A new set of reasonable power level with adventures and a cycle of man-lands is liable to do that, I guess! Cheeky House-Mouse -> Frontier Explorer Sure, it’s cute, and it’s got great names and...

OK, it supports 3 to 4 - big red / welder doesn't hate it. My list is a bit too powerful to be interested in Clockwork Servant, but I think Throne hits a nice sweet spot. It's absolutely a reason to get pulled into a mono-color deck without being too oppressive.

Sets (WOE) Wilds of Eldraine Spoilers

I haven't hated Meriadoc Brandybuck and the Intrepid Trufflesnout seems generally better. I like having a little boar guy in the cube too. EDIT: This...is neat. Probably not going to replace Gilded Lotus just yet but I do like how it supports five decks that people do like to play but don't...

Sets (WOE) Wilds of Eldraine Spoilers

Somehow I had my priorities wrong and posted this on Reddit but not here? I'm very down for more explicit token support. At least this one has the storybook frame! This effect is so much better attached to a bear than on an enchantment, and having the opportunity to use Hare Raising (great...

Oh I like this. Not quite good enough for my current list but delightful all the same.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I feel vindicated because I was day 1 super hot on this card and my ~25x drafts of the format on Arena only validated it personally. It's a very fun card and worth the complexity creep. It can absolutely take over games if played on turn 3 but it also only maxes out as a better Phyrexian Arena...

Sets (WOE) Wilds of Eldraine Spoilers

No, that's Fall From Favor, which I don't run because I don't support the Monarch mechanic. But yes, this is good. I wish the bin effect was just draw a card without the payment, as it makes the card that much harder to assess on first blush. For such a simple effect, this card it a lot of...

Sets (WOE) Wilds of Eldraine Spoilers

Honestly? Giving green another 6-drop isn't necessary (it's why I'm not running the very potent and playable Generous Ent) but this is yet another way to give a flexible Naturalize to the players without making it feel bad when there's not enough targets. I don't love having so much of green's...

    General CBS

Most decks run more than a few! And you can play around it by running fewer, which is more feasible in artifact-heavy decks. It's certainly the least of the 2-mana 3-power artifact dudes, but it's not entirely without merit, is my point. Surge Engine Surge Engine is one of the most underrated...

I bought it for my maybe binder, at least! I think it's pretty easy to build around and has a reasonable floor, even if the payoff isn't extreme.

I realized this after gushing so much about Syr Ginger in the Eldraine thread, but holy heck, I've played or tested all the 2-MV 3-power artifact creatures without downsides. These are all great cards and I love having artifact creatures in my Cube that go into every deck, it makes for a lot...

Sets (WOE) Wilds of Eldraine Spoilers

Oh my god, she's perfect. I am always in the search of more artifact creatures that people actively want to play, and this is better than I could've hoped. Support legendary matters? Yep. Hits like a brick? Yep. Only 2 mana? Yep. Incidental planeswalker hate? Always a good thing. Artifact...

Sets (WOE) Wilds of Eldraine Spoilers

Already a half dozen cards I'm almost sure to include, lovely set so far. Mosswood Dreadknight is a dream of a card that I can't wait to play, and the "roles" may be the first "overly-complex-mechanic-made-with-Arena-in-mind" in a while that I may be introducing to my cube depending on how many...
