No, that would make the flashback cards and some of the other graveyard synergy cards too weird. I basically want this to be a normal Magic experience outside of the shared deck and lands from exile.

That is 100% true. The wider card pool has made constructing a Cube with a tight power band easier at every power level. I do think that people’s willingness to actually play more cheap cards beyond just the best 2 or 3 options per color has increased in recent years, though. For example...

A better food saga, then. This one is super forgettable and too expensive to be good most of the time. It's definitely a fun Cube card, but it was hugely problematic in constructed. I'm a bit surprised it was printed in the first place.

I disagree, I think it just means high-power Cubes have matured to the point where there's enough interaction to deal with a two-mana 1/1. It took a decade and a half, but people are finally learning how to design a good Cube with good cards instead of just throwing a bunch of constructed...

I am surprisingly ambivalent on this one. Usually, I have a somewhat strong opinion but here... I just don't. I voted original but only because I like the "normal" modern/m15 frame more than the Universes Beyond frame. I think I like the art on the WH40K printing slightly more than the TSP art...

The obvious answer is that you put them wherever they make sense.

I'm always excited for more Adventure cards. Off-color adventures are cool because they will help encourage splashing without making a deck's mana worse.

I've never done Dandân, but my Battle Box is a shared deck format.

I like the original Flooting the best, followed by the Dack Fayden version. I also like the new Full Art version and will be getting one for my Cube when I have the chance. Probably will be getting a Dack Art as well so I can finally switch with Art singleton.

I feel like the deck was 50% fewer Eldrazi than expected, and none of the new cards are particularly good. I don't think it's unreasonable that people aren't happy with what we were given.

"Iconic" in the sense that it's a memorable card that was relevant during its day in constructed.

It's quite nice. You can enjoy making changes when you need to and ignore them the rest of the time. Plus, it gives you time to think about what's actually going to be better and more fun in your Cube rather than impulse-buying random cards that may have little to no impact and never be played...
