    Nanonox's 1vs1 cube

Paradox Engine is a very versatile card, it is worth testing, at least.

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

The problem I have with Loxodon is that it's either too expensive or it brutalizes the opposition with its heft. I'm not sure what's the sweet spot for it.

    General Low Power Planeswalkers

Giden of the Trials a is a slighty better Icy Manipulator. It's a great design and I recommend people to try it.

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

I've been making some additions for my BROs and, before I could even try them out, Nanonox went and tried them first! Here's what I did so far: Recommission>Cave of the Frost Dragon Recomission is a very cool card. Unearth is good and versatile, bringing back artifacts is huge and even the...

    Inscho's Graveyard Combo Cube

Great write-up! For me, The Raven Man is that second copy of Young Pyromancer we've always wanted.

General (BRO) The Brother's War Spoilers

Other than recurring Strip Mine, is there really any good use to a single-use Crucible? Honest question

    Inscho's Graveyard Combo Cube

Lab Man, no question. Jace costs 1UUU and that's just pretty silly. Also, I don't think you ever run it without the combo.

General WotC are considering keywording ETB

Sorry, whenever I think of overly wordy games I can only think of Vampire: The Eternal Struggle. It's a positively fantastic game, but the cards are stupidly long and could be rewritten (or redesigned) to take half as much space. (For reference, this is not far off from a Twiddle)

General WotC are considering keywording ETB

They absolutely should. It's one of the mosts common texts in the game and it takes a line and a half just for itself.

    General Fight Club

Shrine of Loyal Legions, no question. It's by far the most successful token maker I've run. It's just a good card and fits all sorts of different decks and shells. Being an artifact, even if white-leaning, has a lot of benefits and I would never cut it from my list.

    Sets [J22] Jumpstarting Once More

Personally, I just find the anime style of the card to feel out of place in Magic, but it's not the first not the worst example. And any sort of consistency was thrown out of the window the moment Transformer cards came into the picture. Oh well.

Card/Deck [MCD] Let's talk about tricks, baby!

I like this one: Mutagenic Growth It has two extremely important features: It's colorless and it's free. Being colorless means I don't feel bad about dedicating the slot to it. Combat tricks are narrow and somewhat underpowered, I can't justify giving them a lot of space. But since you don't...

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

That's probably true. I just never got the payoffs I wanted in green, so I don't run them. Not sure if I'm missing out.

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

It's too powerful with Stoneforge Mystic and I would rather keep it. I also don't like indestructible. I know that, pound for pound, there are stronger things to cheat in my cube, but, at least, they can be interacted with.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

What can you do with this? Conjurer's Bauble If it has some value, perhaps it can be a more interesting alternative to a second Chromatic Star.

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

I truly appreciate all your drafts because you show me what's possible, what I was overvaluing, what I was not, etc. Some thoughts: 1) You pick far more fixing than I do and do not move into three colours as often. This is the right move, I'm just greedy and undervalued the power of three...

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

Thanks a lot for the drafts guys! Something I've learnt is that there's more demand for equipment than I thought. I should absolutely run Maul of the Skyclaves, I cut it to try Brought Back and Kor Haven and it's absolutely more deserving of the slot than both. You didn't find it because there...

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

Ok, I'm going to ask you for help. I feel my testing is getting increasingly inbred so I want to ask you a favour: Would you draft my cube? If you can tell me which cards you missed from the archetypes you've drafted or any ideas you've had, that would be amazing. I just feel I'm spinning my...

Preacher I saw Nanonox trying this out. What do you think of it? It's a cool card!

General What is your stickiest glue card?

I've been dissapointed by Pteramander. It just hasn't pulled its weight. First, it's a pretty narrow card. You need to run a pretty large number of instant and sorceries for it to be good and that's a pretty stiff requirement right now. Magic is increasingly creature-based so if you want to run...
