What in particular was cool about M13? I've been a sucker for summer core set drafts but I don't remember much from the one or two M13 drafts I did as I'd just started playing then.

If I'm basing judgement on the morphs in Khans of Tarkir, it certainly does look pretty strong. It's not even that poor to hardcast it either. Would definitely pick in a morph cube.

I can vouch for whip of erebos being fucking miserable to play against! Life link and having a new guy up from the graveyard every turn is very difficult to race or interact with.

This is also for a cube where I'm aiming for a slightly lower power level than the one I have now! I'll try it out, hopefully it should end up in someone's deck.

master of cruelties How much of a stretch is this card as a BR removal-control finisher? It blocks incredibly well, the removal should help clear blockers and then you can burn away that last health.

Hm, no not really. I might've picked the wrong word, as Maverick probably is the better enabler. I think the word I was looking for was build-around. Depends on what function you want it to fill, but it didn't seem interesting to me just good (given that you have a ton of historics).

Jhoira seem more like an enabler rather than a puzzle to be solved, so it depends on what role the card should play. Jhoira isn't probably a card I would first pick, because it looks a little dry.

I actually went through the entirety of the penny pincher 2.0 thread and ctrl+f:ed for "drake haven" and only got one hit on page 5? So I'm not sure it's discussed that much explicitly, or did I miss something?
