    Dom's Stream of Consciousness

This might be one of the smartest cube write-ups I've ever read. It crystallizes a lot of thoughts I've had bouncing around in the back of my mind, as well as makes me consider things from multiple different angles I hadn't considered before. The variety in here is astounding to me. Multiple...

Sets WOTC - Shadows over Innistrad Cube All-Stars

Nnnooooooo you're doing it to me too.... Fuck it. We're drafting tomorrow. I'll throw it in and see how it plays out.

Battle Rage has to be the pick here. The instant speed and the trample put it way over the top of the others.

Sets WOTC - Shadows over Innistrad Cube All-Stars

I think it's generally a good article. Most of her list had me nodding along in agreement, though I don't run double-faced cards, and even if I did Avacyn would still be over my cube's power level. Fevered Visions threw me for a loop, though. Is there something I'm missing here? It reads as...

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

Meloku is really strong, period. He shows up in literal powered cubes all the time. I recently cut him for being too good.

Man, I genuinely have no clue with that one. I think this is a case where you have to run them both for a bit and keep the one that feels better.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I've played Maze of Ith several times, as it's a staple of the powered cubes around here. My experience with the card is that it's deeply unfun, and usually one of the best cards in any given control deck. The only way to interact with it is through land destruction, so unless you're running...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Well... that's not true, actually. Most cards have a lasting impact on the game, one way or another. They provide bodies on the field. They provide mana. They provide card advantage. They provide tempo. Startled Awake doesn't really do any of those things. Either it wins you the game, or it...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Startled Awake is a card that either does absolutely nothing, or a card that wins you the game by itself. I leave it to your discretion whether you want a card that binary or not.

Hero's Downfall Ruinous Path Are these different enough to justify running both? If not, which one to pick?

On another note Snuff Out What about this one? I've run it since my cube's inception. It's nearly always a total blowout when it's cast. Is it too much of a blowout? Is there any interesting counter play to this card? Is Dismember just more fair all around?

General Great Cards to go deep on

I mean, I wouldn't run it (well... I've been tempted a couple times...) but my point was that if you're looking that kind of effect, I prefer the one that people can actually cast. 'Course, there's always Worldfire

Yeah, I should keep better notes too. My defense is that I usually do this at work (I work nights at a call center, so there's lots of downtime to fuck around), so I occasionally get distracted and forget to keep track. Neat little tribal aggro deck. Waffled between Pacifism and Lambholt...

I hadn't realized this was the Khans of Alara cube when I started. Lots of customs made it really hard to get my bearings, and I have no idea if the deck I drafted is any good. www.cubetutor.com/cubedeck/546088[/url]"] Ones 1 Elves of Deep Shadow 1 Oath of Nissa 1 Wild Growth Twos 1...

If the answer is yes, definitely give it a try. However, if the answer is no... I'd still give it a try. I was not a fan of TF2, but the pacing and movement of Overwatch really won me over. It's too bad you missed the free beta weekend a month ago. Nothing sells you on the game like playing it.
