Note that Jolrael is mostly a Temur card, though.

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

Ok, let's try to improve things a little bit more. First, more cuts: Goblin Sharpshooter Baral's Expertise Mirari's Wake Saheeli, Sublime Artificer Kambal, Consul of Allocation Angel of Despair Feldon of the Third Path Sneak Attack Outpost Siege Hymn to Tourach All thse cards weren't seeing...

One of the reasons I don't run FoF is to force more players into Gifts Ungiven. Am I wrong about that?

Careful Consideration Fact or Fiction Which one is more appropiate for my cube's power level? Is Careful Consideration too cute? Is Fact or Fiction too dumb?

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

I had the same ideas as you so I guess I'm not as misguided as I thought! I think the Shaman would just destroy my graveyard decks. I like the Fiend Artisan, not so much because of the pod ability but because it can be very big! First, an easy switch: Thought Scour Opt Consider Consider Cube...

    "Fast" multiplayer cube

I've toyed with Oath of Druids but it hasn't worked well. You need to build around it to a very high degree, it has no redundancy and most of the time just leads to decks that don't work. When the decks did work, they felt oppressive and not fun to play against. There are many issues with the...

    Sets (MID) Innistrad: Midnight Hunt

I found it very easy to support human themes tying in blink and recursion. On the other hand, I found it difficult to truly support Gravecrawler because zombies are usually only in black.

Instant addition to the cube. Goodbye Opt! I won't replace Shock with the improved version because I don't find the marginal gain enough to justify the additional text, though.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Sacrificing two creatures is a lot. I think you are better off with other sacrifice outlets.

Ok, more work on the cube. First, Nightpack Ambusher -> Collected Company Out Stonecoil Serpent Cruel Ultimatum Nooooo, not a pet card! How could you Erik. Ah, also Stonecoil Serpent which is no longer necessary and was a bit of a filler choice anyways. I agree it's no longer as necessary...

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

3 mana is a lot. Even getting infinite doom blades for five mana via Shriekmaw is expensive and that's after you manage to put it into the graveyard and build a deck around it.

Oh I see. I thought you could, perhaps the ruling was different or I was just misremembering because I read it here haha.

It returns to hand at the beginning of the next cleanup step. Hence you can activate it in your opponent's turn, untap, use it again and then return it to hand.

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

For me the biggest question is: How important is Rancor when you can run Bonesplitter? Because while giving trample and having a slighty reduced cost are important, I'm not sure they justify a green slot instead of an artifact one. I've also been considering running Double Vouchers like Shamizy...

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

I want to see what happens without it. Here's the thing: I've often felt a card was completely unreplaceable because it's too universally useful only to realize the card could be replaced by another or a group of cards and get a better result. In fact, there's another "no way this gets cut" that...

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

Some minor changes. First some cards that aren't doing anything or that aren't pushing my archetypes. Voracious Hydra Body Double Gather The Townsfolk Harmonic Prodigy Some additions. Hangarback is a dangerous card, though. Hangarback Walker Village Rites And a replacement Electrolyze ->...
