How well does Arena Athelete play in those decks? I was considering it for my Fantasy Set but I wasn't sure how effetive it is. The deck above has like 4 ways to trigger it but I wonder how effective the unable to block clause is.

Why is that? Because of possible combinations with land untappers or for other reasons? (e.g. that it makes every land a scryland)

I played Shower of Coals in one of the first versions of my cube, it was a really cool card, hitting threshold with that thing is no joke and even if you only hit one thing it's still quite okay because it does hit face. Talking about it I might include it again...

The thing with Sultai Emissary (compared to say Carrier Thrall) is that it's a 1/1 at first which means that it wont really trade and even with some sacrifice synergies it's more likely to be a late 2/2 than anything else.

How about this card in a more limited-esk environment (including some bouncelands)? Flameshot I was looking for a way too dump lands into your yard starting by turn 1(already run Magmatic Insight)

Nice sum up! Plaxcaster Frogling is a card I've.gotten to like in the pincher cube, grafting onto a dude to protect it is.pretty nice, giving your whole team pseudo hexproof is pretty nice too. It's definately a choice for a lower powered environment. Not sure about the other graft dudes but imo...

Is it just me or is Pia and Kirin quite a notch above the rest of the cube in powerlevel? I felt like Beetleback was a solid pick and the upgrade looks super strong.

I agree, it's pobably just a question of people adjusting to the environment. That last draft had only one aggro player and he was stumbling on his 3 color mana base because he went back and forth between aggro and ramp in the draft process. I guess I'll have an eye on them and see how the meta...
