Tried him. He's bad. Like, really bad. Turns out in a high attrition environment like my cube, he doesn't have enough bodies on the field to make a dent.

I did. I still cringe whenever I see an Arcbound Ravager, even though it's way more fair in Modern and probably fine in cube. That stupid deck made me quit Magic for years. It made me miss the original Ravnica block and Time Spiral, and for that I'll never forgive it.

I struggled a lot with my blue creature section. I tried desperately to make blue aggro-control work. Finally I just said fuck it and cut all the blue aggro creatures and lo and behold, what happens? Blue becomes a sweet support color and a bunch of aggro-control decks start popping up. Anyway...

I just don't think the card is very good. It wasn't even all that strong in DGR draft, and I drafted that format a ton since I'm one of the few deviants who apparently really liked it.

I wish it cost 2G and was a sorcery. Why is this an instant? I guess it's the same cost as Inspiration, but it's not like green is gonna be holding up countermagic that it needs an instant speed card advantage spell.
