It's hard to know without knowing the specifics of the feedback received. I could envisage frustration if somebody drafted three delver of secrets, flipped them and bounced and countered other stuff. Other than arbor colossus, polukranos and sylvan primordial your green spells by themselves...

It's fine, if a little unexciting? Might be better if your red green is built around a fires of yavimaya theme but even then a little dull...

I really like the mystic. It provides really interesting decisions and provides info. Stock rises when you push a graveyard theme in your cube too.
