Sarkan looks good here. You have aggro dudes and could support a fires esq deck with hammer of purpheros. Also have goblin bombardment to sac things with. I think fire fist striker and boros elite seem pretty horrible. How's swarmyard? Cube looks fun.

Re graveyard hate, have you considered gaea's blessing? I like karoos, though they make things a bit slower and you have to consider land destruction a bit more.

I used to play firestorm in standard. It's a good card, the x target thing isn't actually bad. And with graveyard stuff getting better over the years I would certainly give it a try if you're interested.

Seems like there was quite a lot of cheap removal in that Esper control deck. It could be worth looking at the amount and cost of removal that you have. I can't think of any specifically aggro only removal other than things like snuff out and vendetta. I would look at the amount of anti aggro...
