A creature named broodmate creating a token with the same stats as itself implies a monogamous relationship, so this creature being similar but creating a token when another creature ETB:s could be interpreted as all 3 being a couple and therefore polygamous.
Good point about the boar. I'm however specifically looking for cards that are a bit shit, so I don't know if I want to run 5/5s. Pyrehound is wicked though!
valakut fireboar quarry beetle
I was looking for some. <6 cmc creatures for more controly red green decks that can survive wildfire. Any experience with these cards? I'm almost certain I'm already going to try out the beetle, but I'm on the fense with the boar. Hitting for 7 after blowing...
My hope is that'll be akin to playing sneak attack with mostly vanilla creatures like colossus of sardia. A powerful effect held reasonable by really dinky creatures.
Recoup seems great for burning vengeance! I like the red "sorcery matters" subtheme with anarchist
cataclysm
Is this an ok card to run alongside braids, cabal minion and smallpox etc in a low power cube? Someone on this board once said lower power cubes should be an opportunity to run very...
ghitu chronicler surreal memoir goblin dark-dwellers anarchist charmbreaker devils shreds of sanity
I really like the point of it being red, so if you run the cards above you'd probably get a nice little red card advantage packet? Some stronger than others
Herald, life gain = control and unblocable = skies. fits in tempo too
Feral animist, gotta be good with any pump spells you've got
Leafdrake roost seems strong but super duper slow, Plaxmanta if your +1/+1 are pressure oriented
Full spoiler is out now. Really impressed by how clean this set is! Presumably 2HG is fairly complex, so WotC has cleverly kept the complexity of individual cards down. Almost got a lower power cube vibe.
