    General Custom Cards: The Lab

Tagging: @Onderzeeboot You forgot to ci after your Crovax so the rest of your text is hiding inside that blank card. You know how to fix this.

YUP! And it’s only going to continue in this direction as per Hasbro. But to give them some credit I personally love that all cards are getting so many variations on art and frame and flavor text. Okay Velrun out :)

You might not have noticed but the cards in your collection have drastically dropped in value. Also in a faster rate than they would have a few years ago. Even your old cards that are in no danger of rotating out of a format. So this is probably the reason why it doesn’t feel worth it to spend...

Then answer the question. Are you or are you not still trading your cards away or selling them?

So, to affirm with you: You do not trade your cards away for other cards and you do not sell them for money so instead you keep them at home, or in other words, you collect them?

Quick poll question: Are you guys still trading your cards away like the game intended?

What’s the point of me writing things if you’re not going to read it? Cards are losing value more effectively now than they did before thanks to tons of reprints that we didn’t have before. The. End.

That’s correct as I have previously stated many times now :P Not that I expect everyone to read all of it because it is a tall wall of text. We used to be able to trade with each other. You could use old cards to trade for new. Now, not so much anymore. It’s still possible but not as much.

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

Alright maybe amulets can add mana :P Could be the sample size is just so small and that they are suppose to be able to produce mana but we just haven’t seen it very much yet.

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

I have one more note :) If you want Usually amulets don’t produce mana in Magic. There’s only one and it’s 29 years old and it can only produce mana in an odd way.

Hold it right there mister :) Upon the day the card is originally opened there aren’t really much difference. The topic of discussion is what happens to the card price of your card over time when Secret Lairs reprints the card into oblivion. And this is where Wizards is digging into the...

You’re going a bit off topic there when you accidentally include Arena there. And the game isn’t actually cheaper because of Secret Lairs even though Wizards might want you to believe it. Let’s put it this way: Before you could trade your cards away because your cards had a higher value than...

Sets (OTJ) Outlaws of Thunder Junction Previews

Yes But if you want the cards cheaper because of Secret Lair reprints then you are taking money from the players of Magic who wish to trade away their cards to get new cards. And you put the money in the shareholders of Wizards of the Coast instead of George from the local game store. And if...

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

If that’s the case then you might as well keep it colorless and keep the flavor connection intact.

That makes you a collector. If you want to sell your cards or trade them away like you could before then you no longer get the value you want. So you have to pay pay and pay more. The game is not more cheap if that’s your belief. The money just goes to Wizards now instead of players who open...

No no no :) Stop with the evil investors :) Your logic applied in old times but not anymore. This is one of the issues with Magic. You cannot even trust that the cards you buy or open can help you stay in the game. Now you have to pay Wizards again because you can no longer (as well as before)...
