From my own experience facing down goyf in constructed or cube, it's never made me feel bad for casting spells. It's another thing you have to bear in mind but I imagine the circumstances where it's correct to not cast something into goyf are few and far between. Couple that with the fact that...

Flesh Carver seems good to me but has kind of a random mishmash of abilities. I guess that's thematically appropriate if he's supposed to be a frankenstein's monster kind of guy, though.

Ploom would probably work best as a Who/Where/What/Why/How style card. It might be possible with kicker? Is the intention that you can pay more than one of the costs? It looks like it isn't.

I'm up to about half-way, really enjoying it so far even though i've had what's up by 4 nonblondes stuck in my head all week.

Trained Condor might be a miss but I think some people have or do run Abzan Falconer and +1/+1 counters theme to some success.

Yeah a lot of the time Fastbond is just going to be Summer Bloom that costs you a couple of life. You need to combine it with something like Life from the Loam, Crucible of Worlds, Courser of Kruphix or Gush for it to be insane. I've run it for a while and it often goes pretty late.

Frank Karsten did a similar article for Modern: http://www.channelfireball.com/articles/frank-analysis-tips-and-tricks-for-modern/ He's really good at highlighting niche situations that are pretty cool. Bouncing a mountain with Valakut triggers on the stack from Scapeshift is my favourite.

Moxen as commons doesn't make any sense. They should replace the basic land box!

Probably something a bit more aggro-friendly, either painlands or Scars of Mirrodin lands e: or a whole cycle of Horizon Canopies, that card is sweet.

General Fighting Disappointment: Lets fix some cards that were almost sweet

Just thinking about it this morning: converge means moving towards a single point. Surely the mechanic asking you to spend mana of different colours should be called diverge?

I have a soft spot for Jaya Ballard Incinerate Inferno Sizzle (Incinerate is my particular favourite. E: the autocard gives the wrong picture :( ) Also I can't not mention this guy Werebear

This is what I did before I bought it, and it's still great. I hadn't realised just how many words the game comes with - it's like 400 or something. If there's some interest I'll do a forum game down in the games area.

Yeah but it was called the legacy cube because it adhered to the legacy banned list, rather than having any playstyle relationship to the format.
