This card was the first thing I ever built a deck around! Target yourself, and you probably get instant threshold, enabling werebear, nimble mongoose, and a host of other Odyssey block beaters!

Mutavault gets the nod for me for fitting in with a million little things, and not blocking as a 3/3 That gets people sometimes.

On the other hand, there's definitely been some success stories from the invitational: This is honestly one of my favorite ones. Resilient but not invincible, gets better as you draft more of a niche token type (which itself also buffs those cards a bit), artifact synergy but in a subtle way...

IDK if this is a plus or a minus for you but this probably draws you a card the turn its cast. Also don't even get me started, me and @Onderzeeboot went delving through dryad arbors and Arixmethes and we're pretty sure if you manage to cast a land the fundamental rules engine of magic is broken...
