Confusingly, Kindred is only replacing the card type tribal. Behind the scenes they’ve stated that they’re still going to be referring to decks and themes built around creature types as “Typal.”
I’m just going to call it Tribal unless I’m talking to a WOTC person.
This is a testing/includes thread. Post pictures or a text list using /c with what cards you plan to include and what cards you plan to test.
Including:
Get Lost
Helping Hand
Kellan, Daring Traveller
Confounding Riddle
Spyglass Siren
Bitter Triumph
Fanatical Offering
Inti, Seneschal of the Sun...
I agree with that. I'm a little surprised it hasn't shown up anywhere, given how much power it can potentially add to the board. But no, it's just a random limited card.
Based.
Oh I understand not liking the card in draft. Ravnic has just mentioned disliking it three times in the past two weeks and I find that kind of funny.
I guess it's his Venser lol.
Get Lost
Kellan, Daring Traveler
Spyglass Siren
Waterwind Scout
Fanatical Offering
Sentinel of the Nameless City
Topography Tracker
Restless Anchorage
Is it just me, or is basically every Map card incredibly playable? The only one that doesn't seem somewhat good somewhere is Storm Fleet...
This is exactly the type of wordy card I don't like. You have to read it like two or three times before you can fully appreciate what the card actually does, but then the card in practice is only ok. I feel like if you're going to put players through the effort of trying to use a card, it should...
You’re right, but I don’t think extra that ability is going to come up often enough in Cube to really matter unless the designer is specifically pushing Dinosaurs. Functionally it’s a 3/2 with Trample in the vast majority of cases.
My nominee for the cutest card in the set, at least until we see the Capybara. I love the art and flavor of this, and the base 3/2 trample stats seem potentially quite good. I definitely feel that we're getting past the point where French Vanilla creatures with stats are the most fun options for...
This is an uncommon.
The set symbol in this set is too hard to read smh. At least new cards have that little rarity indicator on the bottom left corner, so this isn’t quite as bad as Coldsnap.
I agree that the difference between being able to return multiple creatures over one creature is a real difference, although if you're trying to reanimate something that costs three mana like, say, Monastery Mentor, you really are just paying 3 times the cost for minimal benefit. This is...
I think actual factual Unearth is probably a little too good for where they want Standard and Pioneer to be. Honestly, I'm surprised they pushed it this far. It wasn't that long ago that this effect in Standard was priced at three mana (Patch Up, Call of the Death-Dweller). This is a welcome change!
Gix’s Command is a great reason to build a lower powered Cube. Obviously it has nothing to do with why this curve out was so great, but that’s still my opinion lol.
