Anje's Ravager Would this card be okay in a lower powerd cube like mine? It seems like it could go crazy sometime, but maybe the drawbacks are enough to make it fair. Being an enabler and a payoff for madness aggro is a big deal, and te deck could use a slightly pushed 3-drop.

I'm a bit disappointed. I was hoping for some nice escape cards in red and green that are worthy for madness aggro, but I don't find a single one. And the black devotion cards also aren't really interesting. In the end I'm jamming Mire Triton and testing Slaughter-Priest of Mogis and that's it :/

Tzey should have had no mana cost instead of this akward pseudo evoke. That way they wouldn't only be more elegant but also not contribute to the devotion of the gods, which they oppose after all. And it would invoke even more escspe flavor.

Depends on your point of view more than anything else. There could be too much fixing ... ... to have monocolored decks be good, cause there are too many lands and too strong multicolored decks ... so it occupies unneccesarily many slots you'd prefer for other cool tools ... so gold cards lose...

On a serious note, I think I give this price to these guys for there usefulness in naya colored decks: Blood Artist Falkenrath Noble

I've always been impressed with Arc Lightning. The flexibility is key, you can either bolt something or arc trail somethings, or even kill 3 creatures with one spell. Another option could be Retreat to Emeria. My favorite is Sacred Mesa though. It can win games on it's own and gives death triggers.

What exactly is their reasoning behind starting with RtR? It seems kinda random, but I bet they put some thoughts in it. I expected Pioneer to be something like the official Frontier, or just a larger standard/better extended. Well, I'm not going to play it anyway :p

I'd also go with the Ritual, because it triggers on opponents creatures. Therefore it might be less explosive for sacrifice combo-isn decks, but more flexible as it's still playable in more controlling decks.

What would you say, how many draw effects does a deck need to make this card worthy of the word "build around"? Because I don't think relying on it's own activated ability is a clever strategy :D
