There's a number of reasons I didn't mention these. I think MDFCs are a little weird in the fact that the back side is a completely separate card from the front. The spell//lands aren't too bad compared to the spell//spells because the backs are less texty, but the fact that they don't all work...
Haywire Mite is very forgettable in my opinion, but it's also very good. There's a reason it's one of the top 20 most expensive card in the entire set it comes from!

Fable was my favorite 2022 card. What else was up there power wise? Minsc and Boo? Some Initiative cards? Ledger Shredder?

Ah but you can do even more with Last Caress. Have you ever considered using it to trigger Gixian Puppeteer, giving you a free life-drain trigger in addition to the life Last Caress already drains? It's basically a cantripping Lightning Helix!

The Knights are mostly dead at this point as the Court system was destroyed. I'm sure we'll see some Knights in the set but I think Wilds of Eldraine specifically is going to focus more on the fae folk.
Zoss, can I try to sell you on Deftblade Elite? I loved this card in my Peasant Cube back in the day, and I think it's a really cool aggressive//weird removal creature that has interesting play patterns in a variety of strategies.
