Oh Damn, I forgot someone really important. This guy here is my favorite wild mongrel, even without free discard. He's really strong on it's own. Burning-Fist Minotaur Betwern him, Battlefield Scavenger, Bloodrage Brawler and Honored Hydra Amonkhet block really made Gruul madness a thing for me.

I love the plane/setting and the first block as much as always. But that doesn't mean I can't be critical on new things set on that plane right? And Adapt is just a strictly worse monstrosity, so ... :p

Hmm yeah, getting more than 2 triggers a turn is really tough in our cube, since we don't have that combo element. Landfall is more about incremental value. Guess I'll pass on the Eel. Wish he was a 2/4 or a 2/3 at least.
