    General Fight Club

I think the ward 4 on Iymrith is the way to go for your cube. It's a great mana equalizer and forces them to pay at least as much as you even with hyper efficient removal (STP costs 5 to target). Then what Brad said about untapping.

First thought is that since it's on ETB and not cast, a Sultai deck around these would really pop off Lonis, Cryptozoologist Stridehangar Automaton Academy Manufactor

    Inscho's Graveyard Combo Cube

Do you remember what other support or enchantment cards you ran? I was also thinking about Prototype creatures as ways to meet your goals of having top end that can be relevant early too. Nice with blink too. Do these work? Steel Seraph Autonomous Assembler Phyrexian Fleshgorger Rootwire Amalgam

    Inscho's Graveyard Combo Cube

Definitely think that Decision is a solid idea. It's an A+B+C combo, but part of that equation is having any creature, which is pretty trivial in a Green deck. The biggest downside is that it doesn't necessarily pair well with the other Green cheat effect that you run. For that reason, maybe...

Black Mage's Rod Transpose Queen Brahne Lindblum, Industrial Regency I really like these Wizard tokens (and the equipment effectively creating one). You have to put in work to get anything out of them and they stack really well! Going to be trying them out in my lower power cube, I think...

Nested Shambler Sinkhole Surveyor Avenger of the Fallen Tombstone Stairwell Marionette Apprentice Welcome the Dead Tymaret Calls the Dead Revenge of the Rats These are the first that come to mind. I particularly like Rats, Avenger and Welcome the Dead for this style of deck.

General [Almost Daily] Every Set in Magic, Cube Edition

I’d even add Pyrogoyf to that list. Looking through the set, there are so many great cards (some that I think are underplayed like candlekeep inspiration. My favourite card is as Onder alluded to, Displacer Kitten. Best design though, Baba Lysaga, Night witch To maximize the ability, you...

General What are the hallmarks of a "riptide-style" cube to you?

Gaytransmulldrifter gave a really good answer. I’ll add my point of view 1. Generally (not always!) lower or mid power level cards with a pretty tight power band. 2. Making a “decks not cards” format (rather than “cards not decks”), where you build synergistic engines that are greater than the...

This card looks great! Riptide Gearhulk had everyone excited at the prospect of double strike and prowess, which this easily has. The cost reduction is very solid too, discounting to zero for all your 1 mana artifacts. If not for the frame, you could have told me it was in Tarkir and I would...

    Sets [FIN] [UB] Final Fantasy

This is a really cool spell velocity payoff! It’s good for both Flurry turns and bigger Storm turns. Also looks fun in an artifact deck with Baubles, Stars and Cranial Plating style effects. Also really like the adventure lands. Love having cool build arounds for “free”.

General [Almost Daily] Every Set in Magic, Cube Edition

Love what these bring to the table in terms of both synergy and gameplay. You take a tempo hit in favor of late game draw smoothing. I guess the desigb existed in Urza block, but the single mana to cycle is huge. I remember getting in my first drafts with Onslaught and having no clue what to do.

General [Almost Daily] Every Set in Magic, Cube Edition

Favorite design is probably this equipment. For faster environments, equip costs can be tough to justify in the face of efficient removal as it can mean wasting your whole turn. Here you get one on the house and a very powerful effect too! Should they answer your creature you still have the...

This set is right up my alley and I love all of the nonsense it enables. Check out this Aetherflux Reservoir combo draft deck from Numot. It's crazy (granted it's Kaladesh remastered, but you get the idea)! Although my favorite card is Paradox Engine from the set, my choice of best design goes...

Sets (TDM & TDC) Tarkir: Dragonstorm Testing/Includes Thread!

This! I’ve been toying with cutting Rabbit battery. They don’t necessarily go into the same decks, but I haven’t found my Red artifact decks really needing it (I like the card don’t get me wrong). You keep your equipment count up, you still have a haste enabler and now you get a token maker.
