It's my least favorite sweeper to be honest. I like the 3 damage ones more (Firespout, Slagstorm, Flamebreak) Both because of their bigger inclusion and the extra turn it gives people.

Lands are hard bro. It's probably better with the lifeloss. Put it this way: It needs something to not be better swamp, even if that's something like being legendary. Now, the nerf involving the ETB trigger seems like the elegant way to do it, since you'll be bringing it back a lot. It does...

RE: the burn situation, it looks like you're toning down the power of your burn spells as well, as I notice Lightning Bolt and Searing Spear are missing. (But incinerate? I guess it does look way cooler) Here might be a good time for using different spells instead of intentionally weaker ones...

It totally doesn't, and a regular old +3/+0 is totally sweet, but I love playing it in the token deck where all my dudes are instants/sorceries anyways, and giving some dude like 8 power

Probably. I prefer the super direction card Runechanter's Pike, myself, but I'm sure there's room for both.

But it's the late game mode I like it for :P The green mode is mostly 4 mana: Falter + Sac a guy, and the red mode is (mostly) assault strobe. Setting up a plague wind with this thing is a sweet feeling

I dunno, maybe it's just about having no idea what I want a UR deck to look like in my cube. Dracogenius, Firemind, Call of the Skybreaker and my HastyPie are all control win conditions. Other than that they're interchangeable. Electrolyze, Prophetic Bolt, Fire//Ice, Jilt, and Even Ral Zarek...

My standby for green is tokens, or blink, though they aren't as monolithic as ramp is.
