I assume the idea of the {x} in this card's casting cost is a flexible cascade spell. Unfortunately cascade is a cast trigger, so while this does give itself cascade as soon as it's on the stack, that's too late to actually trigger the ability.

Why not imprint a basic land? You're not missing more than one color anyway, so it simplifies the searching process, and it tempers the power level a bit. Other than that, a pretty good design!

I would just go back and play what works mechanically. The small flavor disconnect isn't worth shooting yourself in the foot over.

Grim Harvest actually single-handedly wins some matchups in Peasant on the back of a single copy in mono black control. Grillo is right on the money. Of course that deck also abuses Cabal Coffers, so mana isn't a problem, it's much worse in cube I suppose.

On the flip side, you know what you are going to get, and you're always "drawing" gas.

It really straddles the line in my cube. Lava Spike is unplayable in cube, but double the effect for four times the mana gives decks a ridiculous amount of reach.

I thought it was just triple Regrowth as well :P

The white one is not reasonable. Six power and toughness divided over three bodies is really good value for five mana, exiling an enchantment is often a game-winning choice if you choose it over the other options, but it's the fact that a control deck can completely stabilize by gaining 15...

I think I bought it, I definitely never tried it, because this is pretty much what I expected it to play like.

I was wondering if the number 3 variant might be too powerful, because it's much easier to build around. I think the number 2 variant is a lot fairer, once again, but probably a lot less desirable. Basically the deck you want to have a 2 damage sweeper against is the same deck that would gladly...

Well, technically shadow roughly comes down to "this creature can't block or be blocked", but together with the damage prevention effect, it's basically Pacifism with flash written in the one of the least elegant ways possible. Interestingly, Time Spiral in general is a very convoluted block...

Yeah, the difference between four and five mana is real! To be fair though, enchantments like this often fail to make an impact, because they create no pressure on their own.

Don't you just hate it when everybody's using TLA's? :D Anyway, I haven't seen this mentioned, but this looks like a fairly brutal effect. Am I wrong?
