I won a few times with Rancor Intreped hero Both parts repeatable and not duds without the other part may make it better. Although I have to admit that plan A was to kill the opponent with a small creature with rancor on it. Plan Z was the combo.

Well, if you steal a mana producer of the opponent then that card can only produce the colors of that commander. Steal lands of your opponent and you deserve that you can pay mana off-color. Just like early days, confiscate a lad and you can do crazy things!
