Eh. RTR: Yes Theros: No M15: No Khans: Yes (for half) Origins: No I guess it makes sense if you count Dragons/FRF as "Gold Sets" (And just dismiss core sets altogether) but they basically have a few gold cards to push people into allied color pairs. There's no fixing, no "guild identity", no...

Specifically in 3 color decks though. Assuming that theme is your goal, isn't something like Zameck Guildmage, Plaxcaster Frogling or Master Biomancer a better fit? Fuck UG cards have weird names...

I think the idea is that eldrazi are supposed to be that weird: They literally do the impossible, all the time. their whole mechanical identity is about moving cards to and from zones we barely even use. Hell, they don't even use mana like we do Of course it feels weird. It feels Alien.

There aren't enough morphs to go around because you're designing from a mindset where Abzan Guide isn't good. That's where you start. It's real hard.

Assuming the idea isn't for 100% of the lands to be Tangos, (which I'd be okay with), I'd recommend the scrylands over anything that is likely to ETB untapped. Checklands make these look bad, and start the fixing off a full turn earlier, while nerfing the effectiveness of tangos. Also, the...

    Rasmus Riptide Cube (360 Unpowered)

Well, Shriekmaw and Bone Shredder as you mention are two of the strongest ones: Being able to be played cheaply is a huge benifit to a more midrangey, 4 drop kind of playstyle. The other two I run are Nekk Nekraa Nekrataal, who really has stood the test of time, and Skinrender, who's drawback...

Funny you mention kahns, I've talked with people about including a "Morph Theme" in their cube, and (To follow FSR's advice) you do really have to start building a cube from the ground up with the conceit that morph will be a big part of it. Even just playing the "Good" Morphs like Bane of the...
