They do. Because of the way cata is worded, you can choose them as either an enchantment or creature, and they'll live either way. Eg: Pick Land, Blade Splicer, Leafcrown Dryad and Golem Token, sac the rest

For the most part you usually arent ambushing anything with what's essentially a bear. Don't underestimate fateful hour, I've done it and damn does it make for good stories :D

I'll attest to vorapede, and Arbor Colossus seems alright, but not better enough that I'd include it. Reach is okay, but man I wish he had trample.

Okay now that I've figured out that image is supposed to be Yavimaya Hollow I totally agree. Side note: Also a sick maze of ith variant, when you think about it. You both need a creature AND extra mana, AND need to be in green. That strikes me as pretty fair.

I will also attest to the strength of Cataclysm in the double strike deck: Keep Bonesplitter, Fencing Ace, Griffin Guide and Taiga :D
