    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

You could add non-basic land destruction. In my urza block cube I have some land destruction, which is not unfun. In my invasion block dragon decks I have non-basic land hate. There it even feels fair. But hey, I like playing against staxx and do not mind playing against worship with black/red...

Ba sing sea creates tokens. Which just like Kjeldoran outpost is much stronger. Adding power is conditional instead of a true finisher/mana sink

It is okayish? Nowhere close to grbs. It costs one mana (this land) to add one power. That’s the going rate in lower powered.

Trial of agony reads like that bouncing one will deal 5 damage to the remaining one. So it is quite strong.

Do you have graveyard hate? If not, it will turn attacking and blocking for the glory person easy, and miserable for the opponent. It could be fun for a few times but probably not always without counterplay

Card/Deck Broken cards for lower power

Thing is, it is card selection not advantage (with fetches). In lower power it is advantage that wins. In higher power it is more tempo than advantage skewed, in lower powered tempo is less strong. I doubt it will be a power outlier.

It is even good in draw go control, I.e, counterburn. So yes, it is quite good in lower powered cubes which are not creature spell centric. It even rewards playing spells before combat, so that’s a fun angle.

both Revelations and path are slow. Revelations requires 3 or more creatures to make it worth taking the turn off. Are you able in your cube to take a turn of from casting oath, and if so, will the value you generate be worth it? (I like durdle.deck but it is not a great fit for many cubes).

    General Fight Club

Storm, as fun as it is for a few times before it gets a tad boring, is often quite hard to implement in a cube. Most cards necessary are ‘parasitic’, i.e, only good in that deck. If your cube supports it, I would run both. The storm deck needs consistency and different payoffs leads to...

I come from low powered where you get a few turns without an answer before you die, but a few turns sound a lot better than a card from the grbs sets they created since the old frame.

They are both different. Recurring, is well even more recurring. But it requires a sacrifice. Servitude does not require the sacrifice (but it also removes the creature). You are right that recurring is quite strong, maybe even too strong. But remember, when creatures are weak going wide is...

Depends. In my cube the cradle is much stronger than academy. Simply due to the fact that there are often much more creatures in your deck than artifacts. The reason why academy is broken in constructed is due to the many cheap mana making artifacts. In my cube cradle is strong, even in decks...

Card/Deck Broken cards for lower power

It depends. I play with grim monolith and academy is weak. But most artifacts in my cube have cmc>=3. gaea’s cradle is the strongest one in my cube, followed by sanctum and then academy. If you play with a lot of moxes/petals/artifact lands than it could be strong. If not, it could be a...

Most are fine. The thing is that most powerhouses require a lot of set-up or scale with the powerlevel of the other cards in the format. Even cards banned in most formats like Tolarian academy Time vault Windfall Yawgmoth’s will Rofellos, llanowar emissary are fine. The other reason cube is...

Try it. If it is oppressive cut it. If it is a strong card that makes the strongest decks stronger, cut it. Be mindful about what card is actually oppressive: Phyrexian processor Phyrexian arena The processor is the visible oppressor while the arena is often deemed not oppressive while it often...
