Frankly, it depends on what you're doing with it. If you just want it as a 3 mana 5/5 when you get to the late game, it's ok. I think it gets much better when you can take full advantage of it's "you may play an extra land each turn" effect. However, you will need to be able to hit those land...

Fires of YavimayaVS. I think Rhythm is probably just better than fires. It provides more flexibility in terms of creature stats and has the nice "can't be countered" bonus. Is the +2/+2 on board trick and haste to tokens provided by fires enough to compete with the "can't be countered" clause...

I mean, I think this dragon we missed could be helpful: Seems like it could be helpful for +1/+1 counters support, without being toxic. It also plays well with Mentor (although you will need a larger creature to mentor this, like Light of the Legion or a pumped Goblin Banneret. Not that...

I misread the card apparently. I thought it just went back to the battlefield. I still think it's probably a win more card, although it does have significantly more potential now.

Gutterbones is not better than Gravecrawler, Bloodsoaked Champion, or Dread wanderer. The recursion trigger is way more of a win more than any of the other recursive black 1s. Even though I love cards like this, I think I'd rather have Diregraf Ghoul.

Favorite 2018 Cards: Territorial Allosaurus Homarid Explorer Colossal Dreadmaw Half-trolling, half serious. There were a lot of good cards this year, it is hard to pick a favorite.

Looks like the rest of the promos got leaked! It looks like Mortify is finally getting reprinted. The only one of the new cards that really excites me is Rakdos Firewheeler, and only because it would be a pretty decent playable in my new project (which I will write about eventually).
