I don't share your opinion of the mechanic, sadly. I never felt like it was satisfying to use or play against.

My thought is more along the line of "wow, picking three cards randomly chosen from a specific curated list... that sure is a specific number!" more than any real value judgment.

As someone who also has a leg twitch... it ain't flicking cards, which is a habit that I'm incredibly surprised people develop in the first place.

On a side note, I find it weird that I love Awakening Zone but I don't have any time for From Beyond. I think it's a combination of it costing one extra mana and being a messier design.
