Yeah, I love Unearth to death but don't really think of it as an explicit archetype. You can run it along spicy targets like Skaab Ruinator or whatnot, but it's just a card you shove in your deck and get some sweet mana efficiency out of at some point (rather than specifically building around).

I'm unsure about the Cranial playing comparison. At least when I played against it in Modern, a lot of it's strength came from the attach ability. That said cube is a totally different context and I've never run an artifacts matter theme, so I don't think I have an informed option here.

I haven't been offended by Demonic Tutor in my cube or Strixhaven.
