You'd have to engineer an environment where Workshop is actually powerful. I also think you may want to have your cardpool be disproportionately blue/black and filled with disruption.

Primal Command has been the backbone of 3 - 0 ramp decks in my cube, and wrecked me out of Hannes' 2 - 1 Pod deck over the weekend. You guys should give it a second look. Gain 7 + grab Grave Titan tends to be pretty solid against even aggro.

I ran it for a while. It's a high variance card that often is either useless or leads to stupid stupid games. Can support the "spells matter" theme if you're interested. Ultimately I cut it though.

Maybe my title was misleading. It's less about having a metagame and more about having a simple selection of lands that play well. The point of having reusable lands is for simplicity and ease of deckbuilding. This should be a fun, rapid prototyping sort of deckbuilding, not agonizing over...
