    Jason Waddell's Cube

Crusader is making way for Fabled Hero. Mindcensor is sweet. It's not just Pod, it's the double fetches. I run it in decks, helps for say, UW tempo. Control is already slightly underpowered, getting rid of Gideon doesn't help. Rotting Rats actually gets played in 3 - 0 decks. Unearth (the...

    Card/Deck Squee, Goblin Nabob

Squee + Pod is pretty loose butthole.

    Card/Deck Making Delver Work

I can see Talrand's Invocation but definitely not Talrand. UR gold section should just be all spells (electrolyze, etc.)

    Card/Deck Making Delver Work

I don't think it's that derailed. Finishers, maybe, but identifying the differences between CML's blue section and mine is pretty instructive. For example, the absence of... may contribute to Delver decks sucking.

    Card/Deck Making Delver Work

Sphinx of Shroud and 5/5 Sphinx of Drawing 2 cards a turn. I imagine Delver sucks in your cube because you're not committing hard enough to your blue aggro/tempo package. You can't shy away from cards like Daze if that's what you want.

    Card/Deck Squee, Goblin Nabob

Squee, Goblin Nabob I have lied to myself for years telling myself this is a cool card that belongs in my cube. But it's never been in a winning deck. It usually doesn't even end up in a deck. It's kind of a turd out there. I mean, I love him but, man, what a shitstain, right? I even had this...

Play more 3/4 three-drops and put in blue finishers that aren't terrible. Preferably ones that fly, if you're going to play Gravitational Shift. Run Test Subject, cut Time Warp. Play Daze. Maybe do less looting? It looks like you do a lot of looting. Come to terms with the fact that Gifts...

Okay, that's the competition. $25 to the winner. $25 to the best two if we get a lot of entries. Subjective judging. Go go go people.

Is the topic "find a card that is worth including in multiples and how to integrate it" worth a shot? The most fun I've had in cube design is making Gravecrawler and Pod work.

    Card/Deck Making Delver Work

Love Geist and think it's a well balanced card and a great reward for building a blue attacking deck. Hexproof on a 2/2 that needs to attack is pretty interesting.

    CML's Cube (405, polychromatic)

It's really juvenile, but every time I see that card my brain says "Demonlord of Ass-to-mouth".

    Card/Deck Making Delver Work

Brainstorm's ability to flip on upkeep (and being an Instant) makes it significantly better than Ponder. I don't really consider them in the same ballpark for Delver. Maybe it's the lack of shuffles, but I like Preordain better than Ponder in Pauper Delver. My guess as to why Delver does well...

    The Music Thread

Five years ago, I was slumming it in Pittsburgh. My (then) wife and I were using Craigslist to make other couple friends, and we met some couple who was slumming it in some apartment a few blocks away. The guy was a scruffy artistic type, working now as a math teacher but he would disappearevery...

Yesterday I was at a cafe in Ghent in a crowded part of town where there's almost no available street parking. A spot opened up and this Belgian car pulled up in front of it and started to back in as one does. Then this Dutch car speeds up and nosedives into the spot, and won't move, so the...
