General A neat idea for testing...

Thanks Vibe! This is where I suffer from not having an editor.

    Hannes' Novice Cube

You mentioned to me elsewhere that you were waiting for complete cycles to make changes (e.g. you had 9 / 10 shocklands). Personally I would just run the cards you do have, and finish off the cycle when you get the last card.

General Simulating 8-man decks with 2 players

:) But the deck was killer. So many lines of play and really interesting sequences. I wish I had recorded it. Highlight included hardcastng Zealous Conscripts, stealing his Mirran Crusader and sacking it post combat for a Murderous Redcap to blow up another of his creatures. Or casting...

General Simulating 8-man decks with 2 players

I tested this with a friend today and it worked pretty well. I'll post a decklist later on, but the power level felt about right. It's great for testing how well supported niche archetypes are, or just for getting a quick drafting fix. Obviously signalling and cutting is pretty useless, and it's...

    Sets [MCD] M14 previews

Savage Summoning does seem like an interesting take on "fixing" Flash (the card, not the mechanic).

Well, I run him, so that's love right? Mostly I was trying to look at other two-drops that put multiple bodies on the field.

    Android: Netrunner Full Review

Yeah, it's been a lot of fun so far. I plan to do a more in-depth review of the design once I've put in (significantly) more hours with it.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not. Also, you didn't post the stats on Young Pyromancer. You say it's a bear, but that could mean all sorts of things. ;)

    Card/Deck [MCD] Graveyard Hate

I'm not going to say people don't occasionally get Wastelocked, but there's a reason you don't see Crucible everywhere in Legacy, just as there's a reason you don't see Jitte everywhere either. The strength of these cards are very context dependent, and even games that end in a Wastelock usually...

    Card/Deck [MCD] Graveyard Hate

The best thing about Zombies is that there are good Zombie cards in all five colors. I actually don't use Graveborn Muse, but that's because Disciple of Bolas is a much sweeter and more versatile card. I cut Graveborn Muse long ago for not being what I wanted, so I really didn't feel the need to...

General Print this Wizards! (So I can put it in my cube)

People in general have a much lower tolerance for strong cards that aren't real.

    Card/Deck [MCD] Graveyard Hate

You know, even with 4 Wasteland I haven't run into troubles with Crucible locks yet. Maybe it's our play group, but part of the issue is also that my cube is ridiculously low CMC. So a lot of decks can operate / are already online by Turn 3 / 4. Also a lot of our lands are fetchlands, so you can...

    Article Rethinking Red

It's not much, but white Double Strikers are pretty fun as a subtheme. It is a good question though, I don't think white's deeign space is very thoroughly explored. People seem to be pretty content with their beaters and control effects. I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with!

    Card/Deck [MCD] Graveyard Hate

Crucible + Manlands is pretty good value. Crucible + Fetchlands means never missing a land drop again.
