Hey guys, tonight (in roughly 10 hours) James and I will be streaming some cube with the following concept:

You guys provide the decks!

I've uploaded a random sampling of my cube here:
https://cubecobra.com/cube/overview/mar11

There, you can draft and build a deck, export it as an MTGO file (.txt), and we'll play it live on stream.
You can add up to 6 utility lands to your deck by manually editing the .txt file.

Then, simply post the edited .txt file to the 'decks-for-stream' channel on Discord. (link to Discord in my signature)

ALTERNATIVELY!

Try out the new Hearthstone drafting (locally).

Instructions here:

Installing R: https://cran.csiro.au/
Installing and running the drafting app: https://github.com/jlwaddell/soloDrafting

Nice, I ran it and it feels like a pretty good way to draft by yourself.

How hard is it to make it read a .csv or .json with the cube instead of an .RData?

Not hard at all. The data for this is actually 3 different .xlsx files, I just combined them into a .Rdata because that loads much quicker. If you wanted a different file format, all you have to do is change the data load statement in the global.R script.

Oh, and if you have different cards you need those card images in www/. I downloaded all the images via Gatherer Extractor and then move the ones I need into that folder via an automated script.

I got the Hearthstone draft (you really need another name before you publish this somewhere!) working! Look at this incredibly sleek Bant deck!

This deck is going into your next Thursday thread obviously (if you offer this option there)
