    Brad Loves Eldrazi

With eldrazi spawns/scions I think Three Tree City is neat even if Green uses them as well. It’s a feature of the format. If you can get other types in there too then multiples makes sense. For Ux, untapping permanents seems like an easy way to abuse the lands and artifacts, giving the color a...

Ravenous Robots This is putting me in a bind! I feel at a crossroads where I probably should pick between artifacts or instants/sorceries. Having both Young Pyromancer and the Robots seems like overkill because they each require a certain density of cheap spells to cast to maximize their...

    Nanonox's 1vs1 cube

Self-mill and discard overlap I've been thinking about my aggressive self-mill and discard archetypes and think they would benefit from more overlap. What I mean by that is cards like Basking Rootwalla are great for the discard archetype, but do nothing for self-mill. I would like more cards...

No cheating then, thanks for the clarification!

Agreed! Makes me think of Carnage Interpreter’s downside. This one can be blinked more easily and you can just sacrifice her before your upkeep. This looks great. Mutagen tokens seem better than Map tokens IMO because of complexity reasons. Having artifacts to sacrifice rather than putting the...

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

Have to agree. I’ve drafted some unique decks with this insect, but it’s a payoff for a subset of the artifact archetype. It comes together so rarely that it’s a dubious use of a guild slot. Kind of. I’ve drafted your cube a bunch of times where I see an early Replenish and try to draft around...

Forgot about a maybe in Twilight Diviner Which is a cool gy payoff! From small recursive threats to reanimator, there are some high highs with the card and a very respectable floor.

For my main cube, there is only one card that is a slam dunk Formidable Speaker As many have mentioned, this is a great tutor. If you have another discard outlet, you can get your Hogaak, Vengevine, Gravecrawler and friends. If not, there are still some high impact targets that can control the...

[500] CCC - Casual Champions Cube

How do you feel about these Fuss // Bother flotsam // Jetsam The main mode for each is likely the cheaper one and they are pretty good generic effects. Pond Prophet and Burning-Tree Emissary could be placeholders until something more exciting gets printed. Wear // Tear could be good for Boros...

    Nanonox's 1vs1 cube

In this update, I am trying to increase the density of free cards that allow you to do the broken stuff. For me, broken = fun! Cutting Spiderman boosting the GY I'm off Spiderman cards. The aesthetic is too jarring for me and there are so many good options outside of the set that I don't need...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

It’s not plug and play that’s for sure. You need specific decks for Bazaar to shine and therfore a cube with dedicated slots/archetypes. As you said, Squee and Master are great, I’d add Monument to Endurance to that list. Then the discard aggro deck puts it to great use sacrificing card...

I am happy to see more counter manipulation to go alongside the FF saga creatures. It's a fun interaction IMO!

I made a about Enduring Renewal: https://riptidelab.com/forum/threads/nanonoxs-1vs1-cube.3557/page-8#post-132928 It’s nice because you have a lot of ways to combo. In the same vein, Faith’s Reward Second Sunrise Can be good if you have some land and creature sacrifice in addition to the KCI...

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

Yeah army in a can is the wrong phrasing. I stand by my sentiment that it's too much for lower power. After casting your 6 drop (7 drop is the more realistic play pattern), you have no dead draws which is a problem ramp decks usually have. You are still happy to draw a land or ramp for a 4/4...

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

I think it would invalidate what has happened in a game a large amount of the time. You or your opponent built a cool engine? Nice! But now it doesn't matter because here is an army in a can with almost no work involved. I think it also overshadows some of your cool threats too like Verdant Force.
