General Pancake Draft

https://joost.vunderink.net/blog/2013/03/21/pancake-draft-cube-draft-for-two-players/

Just tried this for the first time and it was the best 2-player draft I've had.

The only modification I made was using 8 rather than 9 boosters per player.

1. Make 8 or 9 11-card boosters per player.
2. For pack 1 to (8 or 9):
a. Open an 11-card booster Pick a card. Pass the remaining 10.
b. Take the 10-card booster. Pick two cards. Burn two cards. Pass the remaining 6.
c. Take the 6-card boosters. Pick two cards. Burn the rest.
3. Each player will end up with 40 or 44 cards in your pool. You know what to do.

This was a quick draft with enough concealed information that it wasn't obvious what the opponent was picking. I though 44 cards would be too much, 40 felt right, about the same quality as a 45 card pool from a 8-man draft.
