Astral Drift/Astral Slide Value

Rite and Shards are a nice way to get even more value from the enchantments.

Knight and Rallier are value creatures to blink. Knight is decent with the counters deck. While I think the swap to Evolution Witness was a good one, the Astral deck might be missing an Eternal Witness effect as I think a way to recur cards from the GY is important for this deck. Rallier could be that card even if it's capped in what it can recur.

Not easy to find interesting cards for this. I'm not big on multicolored removal, but Captured plays well I've heard.

Kutzil is ok, but I notice you don't have many equipment/auras/anthems making it less versatile than it could be.

Kudo works well in White with tokens and counters, but less so in Green where most of your creatures are huge. So, probably not a great suggestion, but a funny one

Nice when blinked with Astral Slide, it can put some +1/+1 counters on itself, it is generally a decent card that may go in any deck… not something that drives you into Selesnya, but I would be happy to have one in my 23

Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately, nothing is really jumping out to me right now. I may look to add another utility land somewhere to make KotR a little more interesting for now

I got a similar reply on Cubecobra about adding another effect. Evolution is just a more mana intensive Eternal Witness when sliding/drifting. But adding another one of those effects would be welcomed.



Regrower has the relevant 4 power for the Ferocious subtheme. I really dislike Eternalize and Embalm as mechanics. They’re just a little messy feeling, especially when they are in the same cube…I’m running Oketra’s Attendant, which I’m not married to, but I’d rather cut all instances tbh

It’s a shame Vanille, Cheerful l'Cie has all that extra text, and Damage Control Crew is so egregiously UB
