Has anyone tried a big spells archetype? To cast big spells for free? Like with card effects such as [[Mizzix's Mastery]]? I also struggle to find or design custom expensive spells that are worth playing in a high powered cube.

I like this one. Anything to promote attacking is better.

I was actually worried the card might be a bit too strong because it makes two permanents and is more versatile. That doesn't seem to be the case. I will change the p/t to 1/2 as I had it at first.

I am also working towards a Dragon theme in my cube, similar to yours. My idea of the lore is something that could be called the Siege of Tarkir or Last Stand of Tarkir. A city that defends against the Dragons. Citizen tribal against Dragon tribal. Something like Allies vs Eldrazi on Zendikar...

About Narset, the static ability doesn't really match well with the +1. You could change the +1 to: You may play a card you own exiled with ~ this turn. (as the static will exile the top card before this ability). I think I would change the -X ability to: Return target face-up permanent card...

I always found this an interesting card design: https://www.reddit.com/r/custommagic/comments/9sponp/life_creates_life/. I added lifelink to this card. It has always been in my cube, though I switched it to mono white after a while. However, this card has never really seen play so that's a bit sad.

Thanks @Karshtakavaar that wording is so much better! I agree with you that the Jitte options are not great to balance this card. I could choose better options.
