In general, a 4/5 flyer for five is vastly superior to a 5/6 nonflyer for six. I don’t think the fact that the Kraken stuns on any land is going to make up for that difference.

I like my incidental life gain, I want my players to have options to not just roll over to the efficient aggro decks in my cube, and for them to be able to claw their way back into a game they were losing.

I think I added it to my cube together with Bloodbraid Challenger and a custom for some escape density. (I say I think, because I still haven't migrated back to Cube Cobra, and Cube Artisan is still offline :() I think it's a really neat card, quite the inevitable beater for a more ponderous deck.
