I do find it kinda funny that a _lot_ of the cards spoiled so far as just literal reskins of existing cards. It almost looks like a low/medium power cube with some customs

That is true in terms of mechanical complexity, but having 15 cards that all have full paragraphs of text still adds a lot of mental overhead. I like playing cards that are both mechanically "tight" and pretty economic on the text box, I think it plays better.

I dunno, did you shuffle your deck really thoroughly? I think it's very common to pick upp lands from last game and accidentally create pockets of them in your deck even if you shuffle a bit
