I don’t remember if I’ve written this in here but I designed this card many many years ago during the Mirrodin Besieged era without the -1/-1 counter ability. I even used the same artwork, card type and mana cost. Name was Darksteel Platinum though and I gave it mythic rarity.

UB is flavor/lore above mechanics and health of the game. Normally it’s the other way around. And they do it to pay respect to the IP they are borrowing. It should be the other way around. Lore > mechanics for normal sets.
