Is there a good way to see all double sided tokens? Scryfall doesn't seem to have them all and Google didn't immediately show me anything useful. One of my goals is to reduce the kinds of tokens I have, so using 3-4 different double sided tokens would be cool. I found a nice Servo // Thopter...

Needs a bunch of labbing first, unfortunately.

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

The white border on Athene led me to believe it was white at first. I may be alone in that. I dislike how easy it is to get rid of Magus of the Pact vs Demonic Pact. It's already a price reduction and now it's wayyy easier to abuse. I like splitting Baleful Strix into two cards. Might steal that.

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

It's bad Survival, which is an insane card. You'd have to put in quite a bit of work to make it so that it isn't only useful in one deck or something. I bet there's something there, I just don't know what.

General (CLB) Magic: The Gathering: Commander Legends: Dungeons and Dragons: Battle for Baldur's Gate Previews. Even the NAME is long this time!

This is what I was thinking. Probably add some of the green gate payoffs, as they're pretty sweet. Is the Colossus as sweet as it looks?

"Wow, this is a nice card." CHOOSE A BACKGROUND "Uggh... I dunno..." Not loving all the bullshit extra text this set. Really hard to wade through all the multiplayer crap. I've always thought a tribal theme within the mana base was kind of cool. Gives a subtheme to the draft without being...

Pokémon: the Gathering - A Custom Cube

Stormfront Pegasus and Imposing Sovereign were always a bit short, so I put them together.

Pokémon: the Gathering - A Custom Cube

What does this part mean? I feel like the ones that return Pokemon might be too much better than the ones that return lands, but it's definitely both cards' Plan B. I was considering making NidoKing/Queen be a Crucible of Worlds and like a Havengul Lich type of effect. I know I already have a...

Pokémon: the Gathering - A Custom Cube

If you hover over the first image, there should be an arrow that pops up on the right side that allows you to go through the album image by image. If you click the picture, it will open the album in imgur. Grass has quite a few Pokemon in it, so the section ends up fairly similar to MtG's...

Mask of Avacyn is also kind of bad, imo. I was thinking it's kinda like Boots. I'll try to post ten burn spells the next time I get a chance. It should be easy designs and they're a great thing to have your red section full of. Slower decks will burn your guys to stay safe, faster decks will...

Power level feels appropriate and even? In battle Generations I to III Flash decreases the target's accuracy stat by one stage. The accuracy of Flash is 70% in these generations. From wiki. I felt like the accuracy loss was reflected well by hexproof, as well as having it be blue-ish.

HMs? I started by making this image into Rancor. Then decided to make a cycle. Then decided the Rancor "return" text was a bit wordy, so I made the cycle into Equipments. Not sure on the power levels compared to one another. Unfortunately, couldn't find a gen 1 Pokemon using flash. An...

Multi 3 Finished up RG a little more reasonably. No color has a claim on life gain, so a Helix in green makes sense to me if a bat is sucking your blood. The RR mode gives it good aggressive applications and the GG mode allows a slower deck to take its time. Elec-Fight is similar to UB. These...

Glad you think so. Sometimes it feels like WotC has already covered so much ground that I can't think of anything interesting. Then I think of something as simple as Cancel+ or Good Exploding Borders and it's still cool. Pretty sure my second RG card isn't cool and is ultimately too ambitious.

Pokémon: the Gathering - A Custom Cube

WU is poorly defined in MtG. Here, water is very creature heavy and electric is quite controlling. I tried to make cards that were useful both for attacking decks as well as decks that wanted to slow the game down. Maybe the first card is too good, but it seems likely to be mostly effective...

Fuck it. It's 3 mana. ETB Cancel. Ward 1. I'll post a few multicolor cards later today, probably.

Correct It can't be because there's no gen 1 electric-water Pokemon. The design could be something else. I was just thinking that electric's countermagic plus water's high creature count should lead us to some kind of interesting protection spell.

Pokémon: the Gathering - A Custom Cube

Christmas feels too inherently RG to me. This is a total banger, though, to be sure. My issue with move name = card name is that I want it to be rather true to the move's effect, too. Those names are good but maybe not quite where the card's at. I dunno. I want like... Water-Elec Card ... 2...

What if it cost 1GE? As a name for the card or make the card similar to the effect of HH?
