I loathe Spell Pierce with the passion of a thousand Culling Suns. I don't think UW Flash is anywhere close to impossible. You can't have a deck that plays almost entirely at instant speed as in Standard, but you don't need to take it that far.

It's not that hard to turn on Thassa, you just need some decent UU 2-drops. Frostburn Weird and Tidebinder Mage are both fine, you can push Voidmage Prodigy, etc.

Chronicler of Heroes is not a thing in Standard or in Cube afaict Teferi is sweet if you like flashing in Thassa or Master of Waves or that sort of thing.
