The first ability only triggers while she is on the battlefield. If you have one Ella on the battlefield and you channel a second one, you will get nine tokens though.

That… is a cool suggestion! Dangerous though, since you could end up with a lot of attacking power out of nowhere for only R. Maybe up to two times X artifact tokens become 3/1 haste, or you make them 2/1 instead? The first is more wordy, the second is weaker as a standalone card…

Is that really a problem though? Maraleaf Pixie is in my cube, and I'm pretty sure it didn't inherit flying from its green side :) For me the mix of abilities makes it feels like a gold RG card, rather than a hybrid RG card. That's not to say your idea wouldn't work, but it would require more...

The quality is better, but MSE is better for keeping track of your collection and updating cards, and is (I believe) more regularly updated with new frames. Basically you have to choose between a better resolution and a better custom designs managing tool.

I’m sure I run a bunch of cards that are good in canlander, but I’m going to interpret this as: “don’t play Hal and Alena” :)

Looking for some replacements, and this looked nice to get stuff out of Wildfire range, but is it just too much? Halana and Alena, Partners Like, it snowballs your board incredibly fast if your opponent doesn't answer it immediately, and that's without any creature pump to make things even worse!

My only regret for Quest of the Necropolis is that it activates only as a sorcery :)

I would say they’re worse in a vacuum, but a lot depends on how many noncreatures vs how many instants and sorceries you run, and how fond white is of going wide in your cube.

I dig this quest! This is such a cute reanimator spell, especially with 14 fetchlands in the 450, it should be doable to get this down to low numbers, and it’s fetchable with Zur the Enchanter!
